Presidential candidate and sitting U.S. Senator Barack Obama has changed his mind about participating in the Sunoco Red Cross
Speculation abounds as to why Senator Obama has flip-flopped on NASCAR sponsorship, but we at BlackFlaggedOnline have some sneaking suspicions:
1. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. rejected Obama’s offer of the vice-presidential spot on the November ballot.
2. Pit crews concerned about “tire change they can believe in.”
3. Obama realized Kasey Kahne has been in NASCAR longer than he has been in the U.S. Senate.
4. Ken Schrader worried about aero drag on 49 car from Obama’s enormous ego.
5. Obama team admits Michael Waltrip tv ads “blow theirs away.”
6. Pocono officials refused to reformat tri-oval raceway into shape of Obama “O” logo.
7. Voting “present” not an option on “Fan of the Race” promotion.
8. Obama is trying to limit his carbon footprint to European tour, SUV motorcade and palacial
9. Race featured too many left turns for a candidate trying to run to the center.
10. Obama appalled by discovery that NASCAR fans wave American flags at the race.
